I've been taking photos with my DSLR since February, 2010. I first used my camera on a weekend trip to New Orleans with my oldest friends. Since then I've strapped it to my wrist for a now ever-growing number of moments in my life including camping trips, road trips, international trips, family holidays, weddings, Giants's victory parades, live plays, birthday parties, dance parties, even corporate events. I love playing photographer.
That fact, coupled with my rampant desire for flexible and varied work, has had me yearning for a life where photography is more than just a hobby. To test drive that theory, I've recently been taking headshots for some of my many actor friends (my most natural and accessible audience), and even though they've been free, I've found the expectations and responsibility that come with a "hired" shoot to be unique. They are feelings I hope to more deeply explore, and this website is a major step in doing that. I'll aim to do a decent job of chronicling the adventure in this here blog.
Hope you enjoy some of my photos.
Cheers.
